Over a phone call to discuss the possibility of this world record-breaking event, with challenges not taken lightly, the seed was sown.

New Team Members Identified and Selected
Battleback Spring meet at Greetham Valley Golf Club was the location for confirmation of the final team members who will be participating in breaking the existing 21 year old world record event. See the blogs for more details.
First Sponsorship Secured
Wordsworth Excavations Ltd are the first of a number of sponsors to be confirmed in the backing of this record event. Their support is gratefully received and appreciated by all involved in the challenge. This donation / sponsorship will go a long way in the initial planning of the event.
Invictus Games Birmingham 2027 Support Meeting
As a team we met up with Tim Munton and Alex Chamberlen from the Invictus Games Birmingham 2027 planning team. Working on how we can support each other in this epic challenge to mutually benefit both Battleback and IG27. Some amazing mind mapping and brain storming went on with creative juices over flowing.
